WBASA – FEBRUARY GENERAL MEETING

A reminder that the first General Meeting for the year is to be held on
Monday 24th February
at the Astor Hotel 437 Pulteney Street ADELAIDE
As usual join us at 6.30 for a meal and convivial conversations among like minded wooden boaties, before the meeting itself commencing around 7.45.
Our guest speaker will be Matt Rumbelow. He will be talking to us about his family’s history in the Fleurieu Region, their fishing business and their boats, in particular Rambler, the first boat built specifically for commercial fishing by the Rumbelow family in South Australia. He will also explain she is now and his attempts to get her rightfully recognised as an important part of our history.
