                        Insurance disclaimer

Whilst  our association carries appropriate insurance for its members in respect of its onshore activities, such as meetings,  that
coverage does not extend to on water activities which involve the use, ownership or involvement of watercraft and hence to claims against members in respect of property damage or injury by  other  members or third parties.

 The association therefore recommends and remind members that such coverage be it, comprehensive, third-party property or personal injury insurance is that members own responsibility. 

It is not the practice of the association to request evidence of such coverage from members, but there will be particular events such as the Torrens  Lake, where other parties may do so.
